Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
This policy explains what Loganzev (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects when you use Pol (“the Service”) and how we handle it. We try to keep this in plain English.
What we collect
- Account information — your name and email, handled by our authentication provider, Clerk.
- Research topics — the sentences you type describing what you want researched.
- Generated briefings — the reports your agents produce, stored so you can read them later.
- Usage data — generation status, credit movements, provider usage and cost records, and technical logs used to run the service and resolve failures.
Who processes it
We rely on a small set of trusted processors to run Pol:
- Clerk — account creation and authentication.
- Stripe — payment processing for one-time newsletter packs. Card details go to Stripe; POL stores payment identifiers and status.
- Anthropic — the language model that plans and writes your research briefings.
- Modal — the hosted compute environment where your research agents run.
- Vercel — hosting for the Pol web application.
- Neon — the database that stores your account and briefing data.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your data. We don’t train AI models on your research topics or briefings. We don’t share your account information with third parties except the processors listed above, and only to the extent needed to run the Service.
Retention
We retain your briefs and saved newsletters so you can reopen and download them. Closing a sign-in account does not automatically erase every payment or research record. Contact us to request deletion; we verify ownership and explain any records that must remain for payment, security, or legal needs.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, export, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us at loganhorowitz2@gmail.com. We’ll respond promptly and verify your identity before making changes.
Cookies
Clerk uses cookies and related browser storage to keep you signed in. Stripe uses its own cookies and security checks on checkout pages. POL does not use advertising cookies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We’ll update the date at the top of this page when we do, and material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
